 The reconstruction efforts at INEP have begun in earnest, but much further technical and financial assistance is required to rebuild the archive, library and museum complexes.  Those interested in aiding the effort should contact Mamadu Jao, the current director, at inep@sol.gtelecom.gw or mama_jao@hotmail.com

The following documentary photoessay is presented here thanks to Cornelia Geising, who has recently spent several months at INEP as a technical assistant in the audio-visual archives.  She writes, "As technical assistant at the audio-visual archives, I would welcome any support to the reestablishment of that important section, like:
-one/two computers with email facilities in order to have communication guaranteed.  
-6 tape recorders, 2 cameras, 1 videocamera, 6 microphones, 1 2-tape radio recorder.
