Holdings:
The National Museum collection is mainly artifacts, maps, and photographs relating to the ethnography, history and political development of the Gambia. Under the same umbrella of the National Council for Arts and Culture is a Research and Documentation Division which has over 5000 tapes relating to the oral history, music, and folklore of the country.
